Original Kedette Suede Slip On

Inspired from the Kedettes collection from the '40's and '50's and accented with a modern twist, the Kedette Slip On is fashion right with a hint of authenticity.

What do you think? What would you wear with this shoe? Is knowing more about its heritage a plus or a minus?

Love the look. Wear them with Capri's or tights or mini skirts or jeans.

They are very vintage, and a knowledge of their history in fashion would be wonderful. I do like the style of the shoe, and Keds is a great brand.

I've worn KEDS all my life. They are the original disposable shoe !!! Throw them in the washing machine great price & after a few months, throw them out. Big problem is that I can't find them !!

Cute shoes but the $60.00 price point seems a bit high for a canvas shoe.

The Champs Keds Mischa wears wears with the laces out and no socks is very cool. My girlfriend wears a white pair just like that. Great looking with jeans, capris or a skirt.

Hi - re: $60

Keds come in a wide range of textiles beyond the canvas that we've traditionally been known for. For example, we have Microstretch "Lifeproof" shoes that are stain-resistant. Some of our newer styles come in tweed and linen.

The Kedette comes in both suede and corduroy - a little more luxe than canvas, don't you think?

That being said - are new fabrics something you want to see from Keds, or should we stick to canvas?

I like the look and feel of the canvas best. However, Keds in new materials are fun too.

as a male who loves Keds i wish more of the colors and designs in the champion oxfords were available in a 13M which, fortunately, i can fit into.

I love the feel of canvas best, and as long as the casual canvas stay aroung, I think the option of more luxurious textiles is nice for the extra price.

It would be nice to see this style and comfort in other materials.

I would agree that the canvas champion styles are the best.
To me this slipper looking style doesn't really seem like a ked. Maybe try some more prints/designs on your champion style.

I like the new fabrics that Keds are coming out with such as the Robyn MicroStretch LifeProof Canvas Mule. They are stain resistant so if they get dirty or wet they still look new after washing. The also look and feel cool with the laces out! I ware mine that was around the pool.
